The wishing tree: making dreams come true in utiel

At Irundin, we know that innovation and excellence are not only applied to technology, but also to the way we relate to our environment. This year, our Christmas had a special meaning thanks to the solidarity initiative ‘El Árbol de los Deseos’ (The Wishing Tree), a project that allowed us to bring joy and hope to those who needed it most.

106 wishes, 106 reasons to act

The heavy rains caused by the DANA storm affected many families in Utiel (Valencia), leaving uncertainty and hardship in their wake. But despite the situation, the children of the community did not stop dreaming. They sent us 106 wishes, small but significant requests that spoke of hope and the magic of Christmas.

At Irundin, we decided to do everything possible to make those wishes come true. Because helping is also part of our essence.

Thanks to the effort and generosity of our team, we managed to collect all the gifts and get them to each child. They weren't just pretty packages with bows; each gift was a message of support, a sign that they were not alone and that we cared about their hopes and dreams, a lot.

Thanks to the real commitment of the Irundin team, we turned solidarity into action, because helping is part of our identity.

Each person who participated did their bit to make this initiative possible and we joined the Utiel community with a sincere gesture, showing that together we can overcome any adversity.

The Wishing Tree’ reminded us that what really defines us are our values and the ability to generate a positive impact. This has been just one more step in our social commitment, and we are convinced that, with actions like this, we can build a more caring and humane future.
