On 4 April we held our third blood donation day at Irundin, an event that is already becoming a tradition. Once again, our facilities became a meeting point for solidarity, open not only to the Irundin team, but also to neighbouring companies in the industrial estate.
A solidarity network in the industrial estate
In this edition, we have the participation of colleagues from Sellex, Duplostock and Bianditz, who enthusiastically joined the initiative. Seeing how this network of collaboration between companies around such an important cause grows is undoubtedly one of the greatest achievements of this campaign.
Because donating blood is no small gesture: each bag can help up to three people. With each donation we are directly contributing to saving lives and keeping the health system prepared for emergencies, operations and treatments.
A gesture that unites... and feeds the spirit (and the body)
As is now customary, the most talked about part of the day was the lunch afterwards, that special moment to recharge your batteries and share a relaxed chat after the donation. A small reward that means so much more because it symbolises the value of looking after each other.
From Irundin we would like to thank all the people who participated, both donors and healthcare personnel, and encourage those who have not yet done so to participate in future editions.
Solidarity is also part of our way of understanding business, of working as a team and of contributing to a better society.
