At Irundin we believe that solidarity is also part of our DNA. For this reason, we periodically organise blood donation campaigns in collaboration with Donantes de Sangre de Gipuzkoa, also inviting the rest of the companies in the industrial estate to join in this initiative. This action not only allows us to do our bit for a vital cause, but also to connect with our neighbours in a different way, sharing a gesture of solidarity instead of merely work-related encounters.
Since we started this initiative, we have held two donation days, the most recent in September, and both have been a success thanks to the large number of employees, collaborators and neighbouring companies who took part. The positive response has motivated us to consolidate this action as a tradition at Irundin, with two annual events to contribute to this very important cause.
We want to continue adding volunteers with each edition, so we are already inviting everyone to participate in the next event, which will be held on 4 April 2025. This initiative is open to anyone who wants to come and donate. You just need to be healthy, weigh more than 50 kg and be of legal age.
As a small token of gratitude to those who take part in this initiative, as well as the satisfaction of knowing that they are helping someone who really needs it, donors will be treated to a delicious snack.
A small gesture can save lives, and at Irundin we want to continue promoting this culture of help and commitment. See you at the next donation session!
